The event I chose is 2018 Animation VFX / Job Fair. The target audience of this event poster is 3D Job seekers.

IMAGERY:

It is associated with the 3D industry, so I used a half wireframe in the imagery. The slash is a fraction which represents employees and employers. The wireframe is in numerator part which means employees spend the majority of time on processes. On the other hand, the denominator is a finished piece which means employers focus on outcomes. The main function of the job fair is to provide a platform which employers can meet up with their future employees so that they can complete the figure. Furthermore, I used a game interface to carry over time, location and other event information.

DESIGN ELEMENTS:

Typography: Agency FB, Book Antiqua.
Layout: 12×9 grids to establish hierarchy and type contrast with size and background color to distinguish the heading and the subheading.
